Talking to a student at Shoreline Community College about my a roll of film a day project he found it hard to believe you would want to shoot that much. That hit me funny since a lot of people shoot way more then 24-36 frames when using a digital camera. Another thing that comes up is bracketing and why you should do it. I admit I do not bracket as much as I should but in some photographs I take I do that to make sure I have it. Its a learning curve for sure. I was out walking around SCC and took a few frames. It’s fun to see other people take close to the same shot but have their own view and so it looks different. One of the benefits of working in the darkroom and seeing all the great work the students make. Lots of different cameras most cheap ones a few nice ones like a Hasselblad. But it’s the vision and style that matters most.
